RefDrop works on most websites. Some sites have enhanced support or known limitations.

✓  Fully Supported

WORKS Any Website Hover over any image (80px+) to send it to PureRef.
WORKS Google Images Full-resolution image extraction from search results.
WORKS YouTube Thumbnail images + video frame capture at any moment.
WORKS Vimeo Video frame capture. Click the button while the video is playing.
WORKS Instagram High-resolution image extraction from posts and feeds.
WORKS Facebook CDN image support for posts and photo albums.
WORKS Pinterest Standard image extraction.
WORKS ArtStation Standard image extraction.
WORKS Behance Standard image extraction.
WORKS DeviantArt Standard image extraction.
WORKS Slack Images shared in channels and DMs. Works on app.slack.com.
WORKS Midjourney Use Ctrl+Click (Cmd+Click on Mac) to copy image to clipboard, then paste into PureRef.

⚠  Partial Support

LIMITED Twitter / X Most images work. Some may require Ctrl+Click clipboard mode.
LIMITED Sites with strict CSP Some sites block browser extensions via Content Security Policy. The hover button may not appear.
LIMITED Background images (CSS) Images set via CSS background-image are not detected — only <img> and <video> elements.

✕  Not Supported

NO Chrome system pages Pages starting with chrome:// — browser restrictions prevent extensions from running here.
NO Chrome Web Store Extensions cannot run on chromewebstore.google.com.
NO PDF viewer Chrome's built-in PDF renderer does not support content scripts.
